LuxTeach Exchange is a cultural and professional program that allows qualified international teachers to teach in accredited schools in Luxembourg. The program promotes cross-cultural understanding while giving teachers valuable classroom and career experience.

Teachers may teach in Luxembourg for up to three years, with the possibility of a one- or two-year extension depending on school needs and performance.

While we welcome applications from teachers across all subjects, we are currently experiencing a greater need for English teachers in Luxembourg. Educators with strong backgrounds in English Language, Literature, or ESL (English as a Second Language) are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants must hold at least a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, have a minimum of two years of teaching experience, be proficient in English (French, German, or Luxembourgish are an advantage but not required), and provide all necessary documents.

No. We do not charge teachers a fee to apply or participate in sponsorship.

Yes, monthly rent is covered by the program, so teachers do not need to budget for accommodation.

Yes. Spouses and dependent children may accompany you, but you will be responsible for their visa fees and personal expenses.
